qu.no (quality management Nordrhein), Association of KBV physicians Nordrhein
There may be no way around quality management. The legislature obligated physicians and psychotherapists legally to take measures. But beyond this obligation there are good reasons to work with the quality management system (QM) in practice. KV Nordrhein offers an unexacting QM-system to its members: qu.no.
In general quality management system means that all processes in a practice are described. On the basis of this description the practice works systematically on improvement. The practice team checks regularly whether the processes occur as planned.
The Association of SHI-physicians (KV) Nordrhein offers a quality management system called qu.no. It fits to the needs of physicians and psychotherapists. ‘Our system can be implemented with as little effort as possible and can be expanded modularly.’ – Dr. Klaus Enderer, an assisting chairman of the KV Nordrhein.
A professional public image of own practices gets increasingly important in today’s competition. The representation of quality of the medical service is not easy. Through quality management the quality can be conveyed. The certification of the practice offers the possibility to get a quality assessment by an external party.
3cert GmbH revises quality management systems on conclusiveness and adherence to the conventions. The auditors of 3cert GmbH are usually practice-base doctors or rather psychotherapists who demonstrate eminent knowledge in quality management. The auditors are able to check the practice with knowledge of a quality manager as well as medical and entrepreneurial knowledge.
The auditors of the accredited 3cert GmbH are usually colleagues.
